Kaylee Bryson will drive for Abacus Racing in the 2024 BC39.

INDIANAPOLIS, September 6, 2024 — Abacus Racing announced today that Muskogee, Oklahoma native Kaylee Bryson will pilot the #58 as a teammate to Logan Seavey for the sixth running of the BC39 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 26-28, 2024.

Brent Cox, Team Principal for Abacus Racing, stated that, “Kaylee and I have known each other for a while, and there has been a mutual desire to have her drive for us someday. We came close a few other times, but various issues prevented that from happening. But I reached out to her a few weeks ago and asked her if she had a BC39 ride and she said she did not, so that put the process in motion.”

For Abacus, it will give them 2 drivers with a winning pedigree. With Logan Seavey as its driver, Abacus has won 2 races in 2024 in the USAC National Midget Series, coming off season when they won the 2023 championship, along with the 2023 USAC Silver Crown Championship as co-entrant with Rice Motorsports. They are currently leading the USAC National Sprint Car championship standings. Bryson, in May, became the first women to win a USAC National Series feature race when she won at the Belleville High Banks in the USAC Silver Crown Series. She just recently won her second Trans-Am Super GT Class Series race and was the first woman to make the A-Feature in the Chili Bowl.

Bryson commented, “As a driver, you always want to know that you have a chance to win. I have watched what Abacus has done these last few years, and so I know we will have a great car for the BC39. And having a teammate like Logan does not hurt obviously. They put both of their cars in the BC39 last year, and the goal is to do the same this year.”

Abacus Racing is powered by Stanton Engines, with Spike Chassis and CSI Shocks.

Primary sponsorship for the #58 will come from Indy Powersports. Other sponsors are: LSI Logical Systems, The Auto Ranch, Ambre Blends, Tom Cherry Mufflers, Chernoff Cosmetic Surgeons, Audiology Associates, Indy Custom Stone, CG CPAs and Forecheck Marketing.

The 6th running of the BC39 will be on the dirt track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Racing activities will begin September 26 with the first of two preliminary nights leading up to the main feature on September 28. Abacus plans to have Bryson run on Thursday night, with Logan Seavey running on Friday night.

Abacus Racing is headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.
